We delved into the topic of American Imperialism.We first asked ourselves, "What is imperialism?"
Then we took a look at some nifty documents giving some insight into what lay behind the imperial impulse...
We discussed the continuing influence of the American belief in "Manifest Destiny," discussed in the Document 1, but did not get to the rest of the documents yet. I know you will be hanging on the edge of your seat, in anticipation for the rest of our discussion Monday!
