Monday, Feb. 22

Tonight's Homework:

Read, Chapter 24, Section 1 of the textbook, "Dictators Threaten World Peace"

We're trying something a little new for homework corresponding to the textbook this chapter. No worksheets, (Gasp!!), instead you'll be doing more guiding notes-style assignments.

At the beginning of this section, p.734 you will notice that right under the title you see three separate columns:
  • Main Idea
  • Why it Matters Now
  • Terms and Names
On a piece of notebook paper, (or via e-mail/GoogleDoc) please copy down the Main Idea and Why it Matters straight from the text. Easy as pie, but this way you will have the take-home points right there in your notes.

Then as you read, identify each of the Terms and Names (hint, hint- these are all bolded)
*Your identifications of these terms and names do not need to be in complete sentences, a thorough set of bullet points is fine.

  • The Great Depression/New Deal Tests were passed back.
  • Study Guide, Parts I and II were collected. (Corresponding, with massive reading packet which was hw over break)
