Homework:

• Create an outline to answer the essay question, "How successful was the New Deal?" Use the description on the back of the "Second New Deal" reading, directly below questions 1-9 as a guideline. Each of the seperate bullet points should be the topic for one of your paragraphs. What specific evidence would you include in each paragraph?


• Write a thesis statement. Get beyond the simplistic responses of, "It was pretty successful," etc...


• STUDY FOR THE UNIT TEST, next TUESDAY!!!!! If you have questions, have them ready for me on Monday please, when we'll have time for review. Thanks!

Last night's homework was to read, "The Second New Deal" packet. Tonight's homework is to answer some questions about it. You'll find these questions on the very back of the packet (p. 226). Please complete 1-9 on a separate piece of notebook paper.

B Period:

In addition to the above homework. I'd also like you to make an outline and thesis to answer the question "How Successful was the New Deal?" Use the bullet points in the assignment description (directly under questions 1-9) as the different paragraphs outlined. We will use these thesis statements and outlines Monday to help prepare for the test!
